A SUNRISE FROM ANOTHER ANGLE

As the International Space Station (@ISS) orbits 267 miles above the Pacific Ocean, north of Auckland, New Zealand, Earth's atmosphere awakens to a new day. The terminator line, the boundary separating day and night, can be seen in this image. The ISS orbits the Earth 16 times in 24 hours, that's 16 sunsets and sunrises a day!

Image Description,

The Earth's atmosphere emits a brilliant blue light along the horizon. Beneath it, as the sun rises, part of the Earth takes on golden hues.

Isn't it a beautiful sunrise?
