The wide-angle camera on NASA's Cassini spacecraft captured Saturn's rings and Earth in the same frame in this image taken on 19 July 2013.

The Earth and the Moon appear to be just dots - the Earth is pale blue, while the Moon is a pure white colour visible through Saturn's rings. For the first time, Cassini's highest resolution camera has captured the Earth and its moon as two separate objects.
