The Message in a Bottle campaign offers everyone the opportunity to have their name imprinted on a microchip bearing US Poet Laureate Ada Limón's “In Praise of Mystery: A Poem for Europe.” The chip will travel to Jupiter and its moon Europa aboard NASA's Europa Clipper spacecraft.

NASA is invited by the public to add their names to an original poem dedicated to NASA's Europa Clipper mission before the spacecraft begins its journey to Jupiter's moon Europa in October 2024. Poetry and names will circulate billions of people like a message in a bottle. The mission explores whether the ocean thought to lie beneath Europa's icy crust could support life for miles.

As part of the “Message in a Bottle” campaign, names received before December 31, 2023 11:59 pm EST and the poem titled "In" by US Poet Award Winner Ada Limón will be engraved on a microchip. In Praise of Mystery: A Poem for Europa."
