In the Bible, Exodus 22, Verse 18, “You shall not let a witch live.” he was saying. The Witch Hunt is the event that started based on this verse and lasted for 270 years, when tens of thousands died.

In 1480, an idea from the Middle Ages prevailed in Europe, and it was not limited to Europe. It even started to spread to the new continent of America.

The Church's Inquisition Tribunals also took the initiative to organize the Witch Hunt. Their backs were secured, instruments of torture were blessed. As such, people used to label people they did not like, dislike, or fear as 'witches' and cause their deaths. (I formed the sentence by saying people, but I don't know where humanity is in this.)

The 'witch' figure we see in cartoons and movies is not real. That is, witches do not have a depiction of appearance. You can be a witch, provided you are 'someone'. Those with freckles, red hair, those who had abortions, those who yawned at mass when something happened to someone after a fight were considered the right people to be labeled witches.

After a person was called a witch, they made him confess with all kinds of torture. People who were subjected to rape and unbelievable torture were forced to confess 'I am a witch'. Women's bodies were shaved and knives were inserted. She was declared a 'witch' if she did not feel or bleed.

Various torture methods were applied, such as water torture, in which water was given to the mouth with a funnel, metal plugs that were inserted into the mouth and opened with screws, burning alive, pulling with four horses, and stretching on wheels.

This Witch Hunt, which killed 40-60 thousand people and lasted 270 years, finally ended in 1750. Because witchcraft was first decriminalized in England in 1736. It was made a crime to claim to be a witch, to claim situations such as being able to cast spells. Other European countries have accepted this as well.

Most of the people who died were women, and this was because Eve encouraged Adam to eat the forbidden apple while in heaven.

This is an age of ignorance and unscrupulousness. Declaring a witch without any valid reason, tortures and rapes without conscience… The cruelty of human beings is not found anywhere else. It's 2021, yes maybe there isn't a Witch Hunt, but still people are dying for no reason. All kinds of murders, all kinds of torture, unfortunately, still did not come to an end. Every living thing has a right to life, and we do not have the luxury of deciding the right to life of another living thing!
