Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin, who opened his eyes to the world in a village in the Ural Mountains in 1869, is shaken by the drowning of his two younger brothers. This turns into a trauma for him and he always lives in fear of drowning.
In 1905, he met a group of preachers traveling around Russia and acquired a religious circle for himself. In 1907, when the Russian tsar's son fell ill, he summoned the Russian tsar Rasputin to the palace. Rasputin, who healed the tsar's son with the method of hypnotism, thus entered into a close relationship with the palace. This will negatively affect his whole life.
Rasputin is a cruel and ruthless Russian priest. After entering the palace, he begins to interfere in state affairs and puts the Russian army under his command. He became famous as the most influential man of the period during the Russian Empire and tsarist times. When he gets this power, he starts to do whatever he wants.
Rasputin joins a cult that believes they can reach God by sinning. Rasputin, who did not wash and change clothes for days, was nicknamed the "Devil of Russia" when he became unrecognizable.
In 1914, he persuaded the tsar and tsarina to join the war on the side of Germany in World War I. With the suggestion of Rasputin, the tsarina becomes the head of the army and the army suffers a great defeat. After the defeat, the czar gets very angry and wants to expel Rasputin from the palace. But there is a problem. The tsar's son suffers from hemophilia and relapses as he moves away from Rasputin. That's why he's forced to abandon his dismissal decision.
Rasputin was popularly regarded as a holy man with mystical powers that could heal people. The women sought his help to atone for their sins, and Rasputin claimed that he had beaten them to heal them.
In addition to all this, his ability to hypnotize and his prophecies were accepted. He sensed the approaching Russian Revolution. For this reason, the tsar's relatives do not like him and ask him to leave the palace.
One evening, Rasputin is invited by the tsar to a party. Rasputin, who was invited downstairs during the invitation, was offered drinks and food containing cyanide. Nothing will happen to Rasputin, who eats and drinks the treats. Then they shoot him with a gun. But Rasputin, who was wounded in two different places, stands up as if he had never been shot or injured. To everyone's astonishment, Rasputin jumped out of the window and fell into a river.
Like his brothers, drowning kills Rasputin, whom cyanide and lead could not kill.
Before his death, there are several articles in which he wrote prophecies about his own death. He leaves a letter before he dies. In the letter he wrote, he says that he will be killed by the Russian nobility before January 1. His prophecy was true. Rasputin dies by drowning in the river he fell from the window on December 30.
Among his prophecies was that in the near future there would be no remnants of the Russian nobility and the tsar's relatives. With the revolution made by the socialists in Russia in 1917, the rule of the tsar and the nobility disappeared. He was not wrong about this prophecy.
It has managed to have an important and mystical place in Russian history because it has a high power of persuasion and has managed to impress everyone. So much so that Rasputin had the title of 'Love Machine' for being with all the women in the palace. For this reason, his genitals are still kept in a museum in Russia today.
