You may have wondered why we constantly think about our exes and can't forget them. We all wonder about it. Here comes the answer from an interesting point of view.
"Everything unfinished is doomed to be remembered."
The effect, which was first discovered by the Russian psychologist Bluma Zeigarnik in the 1920s and which argues that unfinished and incomplete things can be remembered more easily, is called the 'Zeigarnik Effect'. The Zeigarnik effect is a psychological concept that states that people remember incomplete or interrupted activities more easily than completed ones.
He observed that the tasks that people start but do not complete take up more space in their minds and therefore they feel the desire to complete unfinished tasks. It expresses the idea that unfinished tasks affect people's attention and memory more.
In other words, if you forget the moment you meet the person you want to forget, if you forget your relationship, you will forget that person.
What do you think about this?
