MATERIALS
3 eggs
2 spoonful butter
½ cup of sugar
½ cup of honey
3 cups flour
1 packet of baking powder
FOR THE CREAM
½ cup powdered sugar
2 cups cream
250 gr labneh cheese
FABRICATION
Put the butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan. Melt it on low heat and let it cool.
Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Add the warm butter mixture and beat with a whisk.
Add the baking powder.
Add ½ cup of sifted flour each time and add it to the mixture. Mix until you get a slightly sticky dough.
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll out each piece with a rolling pin on a flour-sprinkled surface.
Cut the rolled dough into rounds using the bottom of a 10cm cake mold.
Cover the pieces of dough you cut and the round dough you cut with greaseproof paper and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 5 minutes and leave to cool.
Beat the cream well with the sugar. Prepare the cream by adding labneh cheese.
Spread the cream between the warmed round doughs and arrange them on top of each other.
Cover your cake with the cream on its sides.
Dust the edging pieces you baked and decorate your cake.
Refrigerate and serve, garnished as you wish.
