The nebula IRAS 05437+2502 ripples gracefully among the bright stars and dark dust clouds around it in this #HubbleClassic image. This nebula is located in the constellation Taurus, near the central plane of the Milky Way Galaxy. This nebula image was actually obtained as part of Hubble's "snapshot" survey. These are short observations that are included as much as possible in Hubble's busy program. As a result, this nebula has not been studied in great detail and its exact structure is still not fully understood.
