LET'S LOOK AT THE MOON IMAGE FROM ISS

Our Moon is in the waning crescent phase, when most of the sunlight illuminates its far side, the side we cannot see directly from Earth. The waning crescent phase of the Moon is the last phase of the lunar cycle before it repeats with the "new moon" phase, during which the Moon is completely hidden from Earth's view.

LET'S LOOK AT THE MOON IMAGE FROM ISS

Image description:

The Moon appears partially illuminated in the upper centre of the image as viewed from the ISS. The Earth appears blue with pale white clouds in the atmosphere, extending from the bottom left to the top right of the image. Black space surrounds the Moon.
