Saturn occasionally moves into opposition. When this happens, the planet is in the opposite direction to the Sun, which makes Saturn appear brighter in the night sky. Hubble captured this image in 2020 when Saturn was close to opposition. Saturn's two icy moons can also be seen in the image: Mimas on the right and Enceladus below.
