The spiral arms of this galaxy are filled with dark cosmic dust of various origins and sources.
Cosmic dust is made up of things like the remnants of star and planet formation and molecules that have changed over millions of years by interacting with starlight.
Yet it makes for a spectacular #HubbleClassic image. NGC 3169 is located about 70 million light-years away in the constellation Sextans.

The galaxy's core shines brightly with an orangish glow. Dark spiral arms of brown dust and specks of blue stars surround it.
