Valentine's Day should be about the things you like to do. So, instead of feeling bad, remind yourself of what you can do and what you like to do.
Who said you need someone to buy something for you? Especially on days like Valentine's Day? Don't feel sorry for spoiling yourself a little. You deserve it!
Have some chocolate - it is a known fact that chocolate releases endorphins to the brain to make you feel good. I'm not saying you should eat all the chocolate or all the chocolates in the box - but some chocolate will actually improve your mood and make you feel better.
Send yourself a bouquet of your favourite flowers - you can order your favourite set of flowers a few weeks before and send them on Valentine's Day. Don't forget to include the card with a note! Write on it everything you know that can make you feel good. And believe me, even if you remember that it was you who actually sent it, it will still make your day.
